We are looking at fractions for maths and looking at what is a half, whole, quarter. As we ate our lunch we saw that fractions are all around us. Check out the fractions we found just in our lunchboxes.

Shoe lace competition
Mrs Head noticed that there were some people in Room 11, who with the colder weather and wearing lace up shoes, weren't sure how to tie them. So the home learning challenge was set. To learn during the week with a competition on Friday, to see how well we had practiced this new skill. It was great to see so many children now being independent with tying their shoes.
