Place Value Songs

The Hexagons are learning about place value.
We need to know how many tens are in a number and how many ones are in a number so that we can start adding two digit numbers together.
These songs helps us remember what number represents the tens and which number represents the ones.

These songs help us to remember when the big hand is at 12 it means it is _____o'clock.

We are learning about fractions being part of a whole.
Here's a little song that really helps us to understand what fractions are all about.

Doubles Song

We have also been learning our doubles so that we can quickly give the answer. This song will help us remember our tricky doubles so that we can add other numbers like 8+9 using our doubles; eg: 8+8=16 plus one more because it asked for 9=17.
