On Tuesday we were lucky enough to tour through the ancient Waitomo Caves. Check out this video to remind yourself of what you saw and then have a go at answering these questions.

The caves were discovered in 1887.
ReplyDeleteYou can find stalagmites on the ground of the cave and stalactites on the roof of the cave.
My favourite part was seeing the people abseil down, walking across the bridges were scary but fun and seeing the waterfall.
I learnt that you are not allowed to touch the stalactites and stalagmites because they will turn brown and fall.
