We are a class of year 3 and 4 children at Vardon School in Hamilton. The purpose of this blog is to share what we are learning with others. Click into our individual blogs to see samples of our work and reflections of what we did well and what we can improve on.
Great stuff La-Eeqah and it looks like you are well on your way. You know how to work it out and that is a great strategy using place value to help you. Now your challenge is to get so fast at them that you can give me an answer straight away. How do you think you will make sure you achieve this and get your last bubble coloured in before the end of the term? Mrs Head
I have one more bubble and I think that I could acheive it by knowing equation's like:18+2=20 I know that 2+8=10 so 18+2=20. An equation like this:20+8=28 I know that the teen numbers are groups of 10 and I know that 10+8=18. La-Eeqah
I have learnt about shapes like: circle, square, oval, rectangle, star and triangle and the 3D shapes are: box, cube, cresent and cylinder. The difference between a 2D shape and a 3D shape is 3D shapes. La Eeqah
