I enjoyed teaching the class kapa haka because I really like teaching people Maori language. So that when they meet a Maori person and go to a Marae you can tell them that you have learnt some Maori because you have learnt kapa haka from the people in your classroom.
Well done Oisin it was great to see you get up in front of the class and with Sofia and Josh become the teachers. You are right that it is important for people to learn Maori language and even just about other cultures. I know you enjoy sharing about your Irish family. Why do you think it is important for you to share your Irish culture?? I can think of a few reasons why.
