We are a class of year 3 and 4 children at Vardon School in Hamilton. The purpose of this blog is to share what we are learning with others. Click into our individual blogs to see samples of our work and reflections of what we did well and what we can improve on.
Each Wednesday afternoon most of Room 11 choose to attend Kapa Haka learning lots of waiata. Today they came back and asked to show the rest of us what they had been learning.
Well done Room 11 Kapa Haka children. You performed this waiata with actions really well. I am going to have to get my Room 7 children to show me their waiata. What do you enjoy most about Kapa Haka and why? Mrs Natusch
Hi Mrs Natusch, Thank you for writing a comment to us. We really like Kapa Haka because it is fun and you can learn more Maori waiata and haka. Did you like our waiata? We enjoyed performing it. We are going to practice our new haka and share that next week with the rest of our class. From Room 11 Kapa Haka group
