Thanks Mr Peachy for having the pool ready for us! It is super hot being back at school but luckily we can cool off as we learn to swim. We are getting into groups and will all have our own swimming goals soon. Check out our individual blogs to see what these goals are.
We are a class of year 3 and 4 children at Vardon School in Hamilton. The purpose of this blog is to share what we are learning with others. Click into our individual blogs to see samples of our work and reflections of what we did well and what we can improve on.

Swimming
We are enjoying spending time in our school pool having a dip to cool off in the heat! So far we have been put into groups and have begun learning new swimming skills.
Some groups are becoming more confident in putting their heads under and float on our tummies and backs. Some are learning our circle arms painting the sky blue. Some are learning to turn our heads to the side to breath and some are remembering to blow bubbles breathing out so that they can swim a length of the pool.
Check out our photos and individual blogs which will have our own swimming goals shortly.
