Healthy Breakfast

I learnt that toast,weetbix,yoghurt are healthy for breakfast and if you don't eat any breakfast you can't learn anything. I enjoyed learning about drinks and foods because Milly told us that some foods help you grow but they don't and they just want you to buy it.

My weekend

My weekend was awesome because I went to Rainbows End and I went on the roller coster and the goldrush. The goldrush was scary because on the way we went into a tunnel and there was skeltons on the wall. On the log flume there were frogs jumping over us and bats and little men. It was my first time at Rainbows End and I want to go back when I am 10 because then I am older and can go on the roller coaster and won't cry at the end.

Food groups with project energize

This week we learnt about healthy eating. Every day you should eat your vegetables because you glow over night but peple who don't eat healthy food they won't grow or glow.

Teaching the class Te Reo

I enjoyed teaching the class kapa haka because I really like teaching people Maori language. So that when they meet a Maori person and go to a Marae you can tell them that you have learnt some Maori because you have learnt kapa haka from the people in your classroom.

Healthy Breakfast

My classroom are learning about healthy breakfasts and I learned that you can have any breakfast but it has to have fruit or you can just have normal healthy cereal.

Holidays

My holidays was cool because I got to climb a Mountain and I went snow boarding I tryed to do a front flip but I fell off my snowboard into the snow but it was fun and cool and super Awesome it is just that I sprained my ankle.

Mrs Head noticed that there were some people in Room 11, who with the colder weather and wearing lace up shoes, weren't sure how to tie them. So the home learning challenge was set. To learn during the week with a competition on Friday, to see how well we had practiced this new skill. It was great to see so many children now being independent with tying their shoes.

Next we filmed Rhiannon reading the same book so that we could hear what the story sounds like when we add expression to it and use our fast eyes to become speed readers. Reading like we talk.

I was really pleased about my maths, reading, topic, writing, spelling and notetaking and also my interesting start in my writing today.

It was great to see everyone in Room 11 get up and speak to the whole middle syndicate as well as parents who came along to hear about our experiences at camp. We had lots of interesting comments from the taste of dishwashing liquid (Samuel), to trying new things (Shaynie-Lee), to highlights such as the delicious food.
